Diving in Trou aux Biches, Mauritius

Located on the sheltered north-west coast, Trou aux Biches is one of the most beautiful and diverse dive areas in Mauritius. Its calm lagoon, clear waters, and variety of sites make it the perfect destination for both beginners and experienced divers.

1. Aquarium
A favorite for beginners and photographers, this shallow site lives up to its name. Expect schools of colorful reef fish, vibrant corals, and a relaxed atmosphere that feels like diving in a natural aquarium.

2. Coral Garden
A stunning shallow reef with an impressive diversity of hard and soft corals. Perfect for spotting clownfish, parrotfish, and the occasional turtle gliding past.

3. Japanese Garden
Known for its beauty and tranquility, this site is filled with intricate coral formations and swaying sea fans. A great spot for macro life and peaceful exploration.

4. Whale Rock
An exciting dive featuring a large rocky formation surrounded by schools of fish. Keep an eye out for rays and barracudas cruising by.

5. The Water Lily Wreck
One of the region’s highlights for wreck lovers. This sunken fishing boat has become an artificial reef, now home to lionfish, scorpionfish, and plenty of marine life hiding among its structures.

6. Holt’s Rock
A deeper site with dramatic boulders and swim-throughs. Advanced divers will enjoy the chance to spot eagle rays, turtles, and sometimes reef sharks.

7. Stella Maru Wreck
A purposely sunk Japanese trawler that now serves as a thriving reef. Covered in corals and sponges, it offers a hauntingly beautiful wreck experience for advanced divers.

Insurance & Liability

We recommend all our customers to arrange for a dive accident insurance and we also strongly recommend to arrange for a comprehensive travel insurance to protect yourself against cancellations, flight delays, baggage loss and other unforeseen circumstances (such as earthquakes, storms, ...):

Conditions

All prices are given with the currency rate and can change with the fluctuation of currency.

Cancellation within one month of payment is 50 % refundable. Cancellation one month prior to date is non-refundable. All taxes and permissions are non-refundable.

Payments can be done in full amount or 75% of the full amount. Full amount is required at the latest three month prior to the holiday. In case of cancellation and refund, the refund will be transferred to your bank account or PayPal account within 90 business days.

Our company is not responsible for cancellations, delays, or changes caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters (such as earthquakes, tsunamis, storms, or volcanic activity), government restrictions, or other force majeure events. In such cases, payments are non-refundable.

As an intermediary we make a reservation on your behalf with our partner operators. The operator is responsible for the proper execution of the holiday.
